Overview
Operational Budget Capture is linked with Labour Budget and Mining Budget Capture. All values captured for these web applications will be totalled and be displayed under Operational Budget.
Under operational budget the user creates and maintains budgeted values/units for a financial period. The unit rates are maintained under the Budget Drivers web application.
Budgets which have been Archived will not be adjustable.

Function
Once opened you will view the following screen:
Complete the fields. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory.
Select the applicable type from the dropdown menu: 'Budget,' 'Forecast,' or 'Life of Mine.'
Select the applicable year, version, responsibility code and account from the dropdown menus.
Select the button.
You can use this button to ‘edit’ the specific account and view additional details.
This will show the additional details like in the following screen :
You can make any relevant changes and then click on the button to save the changes made.
The system will send you a confirmation message where you have to select ‘OK’ to save the relevant changes
You can click on the ‘Delete’ icon and the system will prompt the following message :
The Operational Budget can be downloaded in MS Excel format by selecting the relevant button at the top of the page.
To reset the completed fields, select the reset icon.
Select the add icon to add a new operational budget. You will view the following screen:
First, select the nature from the dropdown menu.
Below the nature selection, you’ll see two tabs: Value and Units.
Under the Value tab, adjust the year total by using the up or down buttons:
Spread: Select the option to spread the total value over a specific period.
-Choose ‘Divide By Months’ to automatically distribute the value, or
-Select ‘Capture’ to manually enter the values for each period.

You can add a comment on the right-hand side.
Under the Units tab, adjust the number of units by using the up or down buttons:
A comment can be added next to ‘Comment’:
Once you have completed the necessary fields under both tabs, select the button to save the new operational budget.
